Glass Repair — 30-Day Limited Warranty

World Phones provides a 30-day limited warranty from the date of repair covering defects in the replacement glass and workmanship associated with the glass repair.

What We Cover

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, World Phones will inspect the device and perform the necessary covered repair at no charge for parts or labor. This warranty applies to the glass repair performed by World Phones and does not cover unrelated device problems.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Cracked, chipped, shattered, or otherwise physically damaged glass after the repair.
  • Physical damage to the underlying LCD or OLED display, including damage caused by drops, impact, bending, or pressure.
  • Failures caused by liquid exposure, moisture, or corrosion.
  • Damage or defects caused by repairs, opening, modifications, or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than World Phones.
  • Pre-existing problems or failures unrelated to the glass repair.

A display malfunction alone does not establish physical damage. World Phones will inspect the device to determine the cause and whether coverage applies.

Battery Replacement — 60-Day Limited Warranty

World Phones provides a 60-day limited warranty from the date of battery replacement covering defects in the replacement battery and workmanship associated with its installation.

What We Cover

If the replacement battery fails because of a covered defect during the warranty period, World Phones will inspect the device and repair the installation or replace the defective battery at no charge for covered parts or labor.

Coverage includes charging failures, unexpected shutdowns, or abnormal battery performance when World Phones determines that the replacement battery or its installation caused the problem.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by drops, impact, crushing, bending, punctures, or other physical damage.
  • Failures caused by liquid exposure, moisture, or corrosion.
  • Damage caused by defective, damaged, incompatible, or improperly used chargers or cables, including equipment that supplies voltage outside the device’s supported charging specifications.
  • Damage caused by misuse or exposure to excessive heat.
  • Damage or defects caused by repairs, modifications, or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than World Phones.
  • Problems caused by the charging port, motherboard, software, apps, or other components unrelated to the battery replacement.
  • Normal battery wear or changes in battery life caused by usage, settings, software updates, or network conditions.

Battery life varies with how the device is used. Shorter runtime alone does not establish a defective battery; World Phones will inspect and test the device to determine whether coverage applies.

How to Request Warranty Service

Contact World Phones within 60 days of the repair and bring the device and your receipt or other proof of service to:

World Phones
1690 San Pablo Ave

Coverage includes charging or connection failures when World Phones determines that the repaired charging port or its installation caused the problem. This warranty does not cover unrelated device problems.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by drops, impact, crushing, bending, or other physical damage.
  • Bent or broken connector pins, or damage caused by forcing a cable into the port, pulling it at an angle, or inserting objects into the port.
  • Damage or defects caused by cleaning, repairs, modifications, or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than World Phones.
  • Problems caused by the battery, motherboard, software, apps, or other components unrelated to the charging port repair.
  • Cleaning or removal of lint, dirt, or debris that accumulates after the repair.

A charging problem alone does not establish a defective charging port. World Phones will inspect and test the device to determine the cause and whether coverage applies.

How to Request Warranty Service

Contact World Phones within 60 days of the repair and bring the device and your receipt or other proof of service to:

World Phones
1690 San Pablo Ave
Pinole, CA 94564

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, World Phones will inspect the console and repair the installation or replace the defective HDMI port at no charge for covered parts or labor.

Coverage includes loss of picture, intermittent video, or audio connection problems when World Phones determines that the repaired HDMI port or its installation caused the problem. This warranty does not cover unrelated console problems.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by drops, impact, crushing, bending, or other physical damage.
  • Bent or broken HDMI connector pins, a damaged or loosened port, or damage caused by forcing a cable into the port, pulling it at an angle, or moving the console while the cable is attached.
  • Failures caused by liquid exposure, moisture, or corrosion.
  • Damage caused by defective, damaged, incompatible, or improperly used HDMI cables, adapters, or connected equipment.
  • Damage caused by electrical surges, misuse, or excessive heat.
  • Damage or defects caused by repairs, modifications, or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than World Phones.
  • Problems caused by the television, monitor, console software, motherboard, HDMI processing circuitry, or other components unrelated to the HDMI port repair.
  • Cleaning or removal of dirt or debris that accumulates after the repair.

A missing picture or “No Signal” message alone does not establish a defective HDMI port. World Phones will inspect and test the console to determine the cause and whether coverage applies.

How to Request Warranty Service

Contact World Phones within 60 days of the repair and bring the console and your receipt or other proof of service to:

World Phones
1690 San Pablo Ave
Pinole, CA 94564
(510) 712-6916

All covered warranty repairs must be performed by World Phones. Contact us before arranging repairs elsewhere; outside repair charges are not covered under this warranty.

Protecting Your HDMI Port

Disconnect the HDMI cable before moving or transporting the console. Insert and remove connectors straight, without forcing or twisting them, and leave enough cable slack to prevent pressure on the port.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by drops, impact, crushing, bending, punctures, or other physical damage.

  • Damage or defects caused by cleaning, repairs, modifications, or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than World Phones.
  • Problems caused by software, apps, settings, network conditions, or components unrelated to the repair.
  • Cleaning or removal of dirt, lint, or debris that accumulates after the repair.
  • Pre-existing problems that were not part of the repair.
